How do we get our pearls?
All our pearls are handpicked one by one by me, Miguel Carabel, founder and graduate in pearls from the GIA, Gemological Institute of America, the most relevant entity in the field.
We work directly with the producers of each type of pearl as they are produced in different parts of the world.

Pearls are something so unique and unpredictable that certain producers seek a particular type of pearl; some focus on producing small-sized pearls, while others concentrate on the larger ones. There are those dedicated solely to baroque pearls, round pearls, and even experimental farms. Our added value lies in finding the best in each type of pearl.
The quality of our pearls
Our pearls shine and are beautiful. Only the 5% of the pearls obtained after harvesting meet our quality standards. We do not offer pearls without luster or with imperfections so obvious that they may make them undesirable.
Since we want everyone to be able to enjoy pearls, and thanks to the fact that we focus exclusively on them, we are very competitive in all price ranges, but always meeting our standards.

Hello, I am Miguel Carabel Martín, I founded SY Perlas with the goal of continuing in the sector to which my family has been dedicated since the 1960s.
Both my grandfather and my parents have been dedicated to jewelry, especially pearls, so it has been practically impossible not to grow fond of these incredible gems.
In addition to all the inherited knowledge, to further my education I obtained the degree of Graduate in Specialized Gemology in Pearls from the Gemological Institute of America “GIA”.
In 2017, at the age of 26, I decided to found a brand exclusively dedicated to the sale of jewelry specialized in cultured pearls.
From the beginning, our goal has been to offer pearls of great quality, to good price and with all the information necessary for customers to be able to buy the product they are really looking for.
After eight years and more than 60,000 products sold, we still have the same goal

Our prices
To offer the best pearls, we travel to Asia several times a year and buy thousands of pearls directly from the producers.
The pearls are personally selected to ensure optimal quality and look for good opportunities.
Our pearls, quality and price , are difficult to match throughout Spain and even Europe since we sell many more pearls than any jewelry store in the country.
Because we are only dedicated to pearls, we obtain and sell a very high volume, so we can offer pearls of the highest quality at very good prices.

Our Materials
We use precious metals and high-quality materials. 90% of our designs are made of sterling silver (925) or 18k gold (750).
All other designs that include or are made of different materials are clearly described.
However, quality materials are not enough; our jewelry is created to last and be durable. Our earrings have pins that are between 0.9 and 1 mm thick, 30% thicker than average, and large nuts that hold them securely. Our necklaces and bracelets are professionally strung with silk thread and have a knot between each pearl, and our clasps are sturdy.
We put a lot of effort into offering the best pearls, so our materials are also up to par.
