The design is an elegant cascade of pearls. It all begins with a 7-7.5 mm Freshwater cultured button pearl that sits perfectly on the lobe, acting as a classic and serene point of light. From it hangs the true star: a spectacular 14-17 mm baroque pearl, a natural sculpture full of movement and character.
This is where our signature as specialists lies: the combination of these two pearl shapes is a deliberate design choice. The button pearl offers a stable base and a comfortable fit, while the baroque pearl brings drama, volume, and the guarantee that no two pairs of earrings are exactly alike. What does the quality of our pearls mean?
Unlike diamonds, there is no universal standard in the world of pearls. This allows many brands to use marketing terms like "AAAA" or "AAAAA" for pearls we wouldn’t even accept for sale.
At SY Perlas, we are third-generation pearl specialists. Our grading isn’t marketing; it’s a technical guarantee based on strict hand selection:
- AA+ Quality (Our Superior Standard):
Far from being a basic grade, this is our benchmark selection. It corresponds to what other brands call "luxury grade" or AAAA. These pearls have magnificent luster and a very clean surface. An ideal choice thanks to its unbeatable value. - AAA Quality (Top 3%):
A visible step up in clarity. We select only the top 3% of each annual harvest. They have more intense, deeper luster and an even cleaner surface, with imperfections that are virtually imperceptible. Ideal for those seeking an extra touch of excellence. - Signature Quality (1% – Extraordinary Pearls):
The extraordinary. Pearls with a virtually perfect balance of luster, shape, and surface. They are incredibly hard to source and represent less than 1% of global production.
Preparation time
Certain designs, like some of our earrings and necklaces where you can choose the type of clasp, are hand-strung once the order is placed, so we need one business day to get it ready and ship it the following day. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you’re in a hurry.
However, the vast majority of products are ready so orders placed before 13:00 will be shipped the same day and the rest one day later.

- Flexible Refund: Choose Gift Card (FREE Return) or a money refund (with a small shipping fee of 5€ in Spain / 10€ in the EU).

Product care
A good rule for caring for pearls is that they should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you
take off.
It’s also a good idea to wipe your pearls with a soft cloth after wearing them and, from time to time, you can dampen it with water for a more thorough cleaning. Avoid using harsh soaps, as they can damage the luster of the pearls.
Always keep your pearls separate from other hard jewelry, such as metals and other gemstones, to prevent them from getting scratched.
